Will we really see monkeys?

Yes — troops of wild Barbary macaques live around the falls and are very commonly seen along the trails. Please admire them from a respectful distance and avoid feeding them.

Is there a lot of walking?

Reaching the base of the falls involves a downhill walk and the climb back up, at your own pace with plenty of shaded rest stops. Those who prefer can enjoy the views from the upper terraces.
