Itinerary
Arrival in Casablanca
Airport pickup, hotel transfer, and a first look at Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche.
Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen
Visit Rabat's Hassan Tower and royal Mausoleum, then continue through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen for the night.
Chefchaouen → Fes
Morning in Chefchaouen's blue medina, then on to Fes via the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes.
Fes — Full Medina Tour
A full day exploring Fes el-Bali's medina, tanneries, madrasas and artisan souks.
Fes → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
A scenic drive through the Middle Atlas cedar forests and the Ziz Valley palm groves to Merzouga, arriving in time for a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset and an overnight desert camp.
Merzouga → Dades Valley (via Todra Gorge)
Sunrise over the dunes, then a drive west through Rissani and the dramatic Todra Gorge to the Dades Valley for the night.
Dades Valley → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Continue through the Valley of Roses, visit the UNESCO kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, then cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass into Marrakech.
Marrakech — Medina & Gardens
A full day exploring Jemaa el-Fna square, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and the Majorelle Garden.
Marrakech → Essaouira Day Trip
A day on the Atlantic coast in Essaouira's whitewashed medina and fishing port, returning to Marrakech in the evening.
