Our 4 days Marrakech Sahara desert trip will begin after your breakfast in your accommodation in Marrakech. Our English-speaking driver/guide will make sure everyone is ready, then drive towards the High Atlas mountains. While we are on the way, we can make some stops to enjoy the views of the mountains and discover one of the Argan workshops. There, we will meet Berber ladies making Moroccan skin products. After a while, we will continue our day tour by driving to our next destination which is Ait Benhaddou kasbah. At our arrival, we will go on a guided visit to explore the kasbah and walk in its rock alleys.
Afterward, we’ll continue our day tour passing by Ouarzazate city “The Hollywood of Africa”, and the Rose Valley which is known as thousand Kasbahs valley. Upon arrival at our accommodation in Dades Gorge, we will check-in while having a fresh drink. Dinner and overnight included.
After breakfast, we get ready to drive along the Valley of Dades with its panoramic view of the Dades River. We will also visit “Monkeys toes” these natural rocks in the Valley before continuing to Todra gorges. At our arrival at Todra, we will go for a walk in between the Gorges while enjoying the fresh breeze. Our desert trip will continue to the Desert through the Gate of the South with its mountains and Berber nomads. On our way, we’ll pass by Erfoud’s “The Fossil’s Capital” including a short stop in one of the Fossil’s workshops, where we will explore the operation of how making fossils out of a huge rock. Our day trip’s final destination will be to the Merzouga dunes of Erg Chebbi. There we will go on our camels for sunset before returning to our luxury desert camp where we will stop for the night under bright stars.
Since we are in the desert, we might wake up early to catch an amazing sunrise shining behind the Sand dunes. We then take our breakfast and get ready for our day trip for the day. We will drive along with the South fields of volcanic rocks on our way to Rissani “The economic city of the South”. We then join the Palm Grove of Tafilalet heading to Alnif and Tazarine. We will also cross the Valley of Draa on our way to Ouarzazate. Once we arrive at Ouarzazate, we will visit Talouet Kasbah in the center of the city. After a while, we go to check-in for our accommodation with dinner and overnight included.
Breakfast in our accommodation, then we get ready for our next adventure day tour. We’ll drive towards the High Atlas mountains including a short visit to Cinema Studio in the Gate of Ouarzazate. You can make the choice if you want to visit the Studio before we continue. Our final destination will be Marrakech by crossing the High Atlas mountains and Tizi-N-Tichka pass that stand at an altitude of 2600 M. At our arrival at Marrakech, we will accompany you to your accommodation where our Morocco Desert tour comes to the end.
